Welcome to the National Dragonboat Club (NDC) online. We are a not-for-profit Club bringing dragon boating back to you, the athlete. Our mission is to promote dragon boating by delivering the complete paddling experience to athletes of all ages, abilities and experience levels in the GTA.
NDC is in the final stages of rebuilding and restructuring. We are proud to announce that Blake Hara is the new Program Director and will be finalizing practice booking and payment procedures in the coming weeks. If you know the days and times your team would like to practice, please submit these requests to info@nationaldragonboat.com and Blake will be happy to follow up with you shortly.
Spring Practice Dates
- Saturday, April 18 to Friday, June 19 all at the Sunnyside Location
2009 Pricing Information
- The final fee schedule for 2009 is still under review but we can confirm the following:
- Spring boat rental fees will be $80/hr
- Spring high performance coaching fees will be $85/hr
- Spring intermediate coaching fees will be $70/hr
- Spring regular coaching fees will be $60/hr
- As the exclusive practice supplier for the 2009 TIDBRF, NDC will be offering a 15% spring training discount to teams registered with this premier dragonboating event
- Fees do not include applicable taxes
- ***THIS DISCOUNT DOES NOT APPLY TO TEAMS TRAINING AT 7PM MONDAY TO THURSDAY***
Registration and Payment Information
- In 2009 a maximum of 10 boats per hour will be available, so book your days and times early.
- Practice booking will be conducted on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Registration or booking from teams with outstanding fees owing to NDC will not be accepted until all amounts are settled in full.
- For bookings totaling up to $250 (not including taxes); teams will be required to pay 100% of their fees in advance to confirm their practice times.
- For bookings totaling between $251 and $500 (not including taxes); teams will be required to pay a minimum $250 in advance to confirm their practice times.
- For bookings over $500 (not including taxes); teams will be required to pay a minimum 50% of the total in advance to confirm their practice times.
Our Vision
- NDC endeavors to provide high quality and responsive services to dragonboaters of all levels.
- NDC intends to expand its community outreach initiatives and will be informing and involving the dragonboat community in these efforts as they evolve.
- NDC will be working closely with Sunnyside Café to bring dragonboaters great and affordable pre and post-practice deals.
