Event Management
We offer many options for hosting events, from fun-focused paddling for beginners, to Corporate team building fully facilitated by expertly trained individuals.
Rates are based on half day. Each dragon boat comes complete with steering oar, 24 paddles and 24 lifejackets. Coaches can be arranged if required. And for events taking place between the Humber River and Toronto Island we can dress each boat with dragon head and tail for a nominal fee.
For events taking place at our Sunnyside location, post event festivities can take place right in the park, at the pool, or the Sunnyside cafe.
Private Event
The NDC has run several birthday parties for youth, with parents enjoying the experience as much as the kids. We have several tried and true activities for the beach (scavenger hunt, obstacle course, etc) before the water activities. On the water we provide exceptional coaching and a fun race, and water balloons and silly string culminating into a mock battle for the finale.
Corporate Days
We offer a number of options to choose from... one hour, half day or full day; 1, 2 or more boats; from a social event on the water to maximizing the team building experience. We are able to accommodate between 15-20 people per boat, and can transport our equipment anywhere in Southern Ontario.
Youth Spirit
Youth Spirit is an organization that gives teens and young adults with developmental challenges an opportunity to experience dragon boating. The group practice Saturdays and a special race of 250m is held at the TIDBRF.
